Phillip B. Brintle, D.D.S.
Dr. Brintle grew up in Mount Airy and graduated from North Surry High School in 1970. He served in the Air Force as a dental technician in San Antonio, Texas, where he was stationed. He graduated from Guilford College with a bachelor's degree in biology in 1978. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1984. After graduating, Dr. Brintle re-enlisted in the Air Force and was once again stationed in San Antonio, where he worked as a dental officer for four years. He spent a total of 20 years in the Air Force and was stationed several places around the world, including Japan, Korea, South Carolina and Virginia. Dr. Brintle retired from the Air Force in 2001 and moved back to North Carolina where he has always considered home. Dr. Brintle enjoys gardening, playing the piano, cooking and spoiling his grandchildren.
